Getting your new Audi to you from the US isn't as much of a hassle as you may percieve. Shipping your Audi from the US normally takes between 20-30 days, depending on the port of origin and the destination port.
If your Audi is being shipped from California, which is 90% are, the ship leaves port and takes a route straight through the Panama Canal and onto Liverpool, Bremerhaven or the port associated with your own Country. This will take around 30 days. If your car is brand new, it'll leave from the East Coast and expect it to take 14-20 days.
Once your car reaches the destination port, in the UK it'll be Liverpool, it's collected for us by our approved SVA tester who will take the car to be SVA'd. The SVA, or Single Vehicle Approval is a test to make sure that the car meets European Type Approval and is required by Law. The VAT will be paid and the car registered and taxed for 6 months. If you are a UK Audi Buyer, this will be included within the price of the vehicle when we provide a quotation. If you're buying from anywhere else in the World, we shall help you all we can to adhere to the regulations of import into your Country.
In every case, if you tell us the country and port of destination, we will be very pleased to quote you a shipping price in addition to your vehicle.
